The strong start to 2024 set the stage for an exciting year. As mentioned in our recent Market Commentary, strong starts to the year are usually bullish for stocks. The markets hitting an all-time high certainly caught many people’s attention!
Our team is growing.
We welcomed new Associate Wealth Advisor Zach Vande Weerd to our team. With a dad like Managing Partner & Wealth Advisor Sam, were any of us surprised that Zach would wind up in the financial services industry?
Zach has already started meeting with clients and we’re happy to have him on board.
Speaking of our growing team, Client Service Manager Amy Fouch had her baby on Easter Sunday! Both mom and baby are doing well.
Pella’s presence felt in Omaha.
Both Sam and Zach attended Partner Academy in March at Carson’s HQ in Omaha. They enjoyed representing Pella as they participated in discussions and learning about networking, new technology, investment options and more. They’re excited to apply what they’ve learned!
While they certainly enjoyed their time in Omaha, Sam and Zach are always happy to return to their Pella community.
Pella prepares for annual festivities.
There is so much happening in Pella as the nicer weather approaches! Our team is especially excited for a couple upcoming community events:
- Annual Tulip Time Festival: Our office will be closed May 2 & 3 for Tulip Time. Join us in celebrating our community’s Dutch culture as the tulips bloom and our town bustles with activity.
- Thursday Nights in Pella: We’ll have a table in Pella’s Central Park on 6/20 featuring drawings for kids and parents. Stop by our table as you’re out enjoying this annual summer tradition.
