Jess Murphy

Jess creates long-term relationships with clients using sophisticated tools and solutions to provide paths of success that are easy to understand and implement. Through this, he makes a difference in their lives and helps them fulfil their passions.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a master’s degree in financial planning, Jess holds the CFP® Practitioner designation. In 1983, he founded Murphy Financial Advisors and served as a Wealth Advisor and Vice President for Happy State Bank. A prolific public speaker and presenter, Jess has appeared at a variety of financial conferences around the country and abroad.

Jess and his wife of 50 years, Linda, love spending time with their children and grandchildren. Both Jess and Linda are active within the community and volunteer their time for a variety of Amarillo nonprofit organizations.
